If you are comfortable handling a higher mileage total (based on your previous training), feel free to run easy on the optional rest days or add a few kilometres to the easy runs.

This plan is built to adapt to your experience level and it can be flexible to your needs if you incorporate rest/recovery days between the hard and long sets.
